Dog Care

So you got yourself an energetic fluffy dog, and now don't know what to do to keep it healthy and happy? Well you're on the right page, because everything you need is right here. From nutrition to entertainment- we have you covered.

Nutrition

A dog's nutrition is one of the most important factors that can affect your pet's health, so make sure to feed your dog a variety of rich and nutritious foods, including fresh meat, eggs, and specialty dog food. You can even add dried skin for your dog to chew on. There are, however, foods that could poison your dog and cause negative effects such as grapes, chocolate, onions and garlic.

Grooming

Dogs, unlike cats, do not clean themselves on their own, so a bi-weekly washing may be necessary, depending on your dog's fur type. Regularly washing and brushing your dog's fur will stop it's fur from forming fur mats, which is compacted knotted fur that can cause irritation and even rashes on your furry friend's skin.

Housing

Different dogs can have wildly varrying levels of energy, so make sure your house is set up to support your dog's energy bursts. Do not forget to regularly bring your dog out on walks, as staying inside will not be enough activity for them.

Entertainment

Dogs require lots of attention, and when you're not home to give them that attention they will need to find ways to entertain themselves, so make sure to have lots of interactable toys around your house so your dog doesn't get bored. Constant boredom and lack of activity can make a dog depressed which will inevitably shorten its life span.
